Isabel was born by her mother in Melbourne Australia. Her father is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. Her family grew up in Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru a small mining town that is located in Cairns in the Northern Territory and Cairns Australia. With Nina, her younger sister Nina she was a student at schools with First Nations children as well as students from different countries. Isabel is currently living with her family in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel had been engaged in drama from her time in high school. Following her graduation from Queensland University of Technology she pursued a degree in acting at the Victoria College of Arts. Also, she has recently completed the PEM Method program (Perdekamp Emotional Method) research. Prior to 2002, she had never had an audition. The role she was offered was in Home and Away, 1988. The audition was for a role in the show Home and Away (1988). The initial TV show she played lasted three years and she won the Logie Award for new popular talents. Isabel was moved her home to Los Angeles, California in 2008. Her first big role came from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). Since then, Isabel has appeared in numerous US-based and Australian films. She also won several prizes. Isabel was recently seen on Bosh & Rockit a fast-emerging Australian classic film, and is set to appear in the soon-to be-released thriller Lunacy. Isabel recently finished Sons of Summer. She is currently in the pre-production phase for her role as Marie Curie with award winning director and writer Annika Glas.
